Went in for my first class this week. Everyone I met from instructors to members were extremely welcoming. Very impressed with the facility and professionalism that I saw. Was unsure at 52 years old if this was a good idea, but after meeting other members was excited to get started.
I was really surprised and impressed entering seeing a dojo with striking training combined with Jujutsu. I wanted to broaden my daughter’s martial art training by having her work in jujutsu. The welcoming was professional and amazing. They took her in with open arms and she left there smiling and excited.
Great classes, both Kickboxing and BJJ. Instructors are knowledgeable and involved during the classes. Friendly staff and participants, no egos, everyone is there to learn and get a good workout.
Family friendly atmosphere and extremely welcoming. I did not feel like a new guy in my intro class. Respect was given to all and no egos. Signed up on the spot.
I’ve been to quite a few combat gyms and this is among the best. Between the vast knowledge to be shared by professors and coaches to the way they make you feel like family. Gym is also great size and is maintained very well. I appreciate the hospitality and highly recommend.
I love the classes I’ve been taking and I look forward to them every week. I’m happy I took the step to sign up.
We attend the one in Fairhaven and we absolutely love it! The instructors are patient, educational and my son has a great time! The instructors finish each class with a quick 5 minute game and the kids walk out with smiles! 10/10!
My husband and I just signed our three-year-old daughter up for jujitsu here and, so far, we have had a great experience! Sonya, who works at the desk, was so kind and helpful when it came to the registration process and giving us a tour of the facility. Alyssa, who did my daughter’s trial on the first day and worked with her during her first class, was so patient and great at giving directions in a way that is easy for a three-year-old to understand. We look forward to seeing all that they help our daughter learn!

My 3 year old had his first class and didn't want to leave! My fiance and I have put him in many different sports and Jiu Jitsu has been the only one he has had a smile and engaged in the entire time! We are only one class in but I would definitely recommend! I also want to say that the staff their is absolutely amazing!

This broke me out of the shell I put myself in and I became more confident in myself mentally and physically. I can still remember my first day walking into the old gym not knowing anything about Jiu-jitsu. Going behind the wall and having Danny Jr demonstrate three basic techniques. Right after that I fell in love with Brazilian jiu-jitsu and knew this was the perfect academy for me. Fast forward to today I see these new students come in on there first day and experience the same feelings I had back on my first day. If you want to find a second family and also learn some amazing skills and techniques, Danny Saverys BJJ is the most perfect fit for you.
I signed up my daughter for classes here in November, and we love it! It's nice to see a business owner so present and invested. Sarah was amazing and answered all of my many questions when we were signing up. Everyone here is friendly and helpful, and they genuinely care about the students in class. The staff have such impressive patience and discipline to keep all these kids focused during each lesson, not to mention great enthusiasm and technique demonstration. My daughter has learned so much already, and we can already see positive changes off the mat, too! ;) It's a great community, and everything has been top-notch so far. I cannot recommend Danny Savery and his team enough! Thank you!
I wanted to get on here and update my initial review. I’ve been training here for almost two years now. I’ve learned so much since first reviewing, and it’s truly been like a second home for me. I’ve made great friends, had fantastic conversations, and look forward to it every time I go. It’s absolutely worth the cost, and has given me so much more than I thought it could. I absolutely love it here. The teammates are fantastic, and the coaching is extraordinary. Even more than before, I highly recommend.

I’ve only been going here for about a month now, but I absolutely love it. Everyone is so friendly, and the instructors are very knowledgeable. Even though some people are training for competitions, there’s no “I’m better than you” attitude, and everyone is helpful to the newbies. I started to simply lose weight, but I’ve already learned a lot and thoroughly enjoy my time here. They do an introductory class so you can see if it’s right for you without outright joining. They offer a range of classes that fit everyone, and you can mix it up if you like. Highly recommend

Great gym atmosphere, family and team oriented. Everyone is friendly and willing to help. I’ve been a member for over ten years and haven’t thought about leaving. They offer classes 7 days a week morning noon and nights to accommodate all types of schedules. Danny has been a great coach mentor and friend whose been a big influence on me. I highly recommend stopping in and taking an intro class to see if it’s something you would enjoy
